History

Ever-reliable as a place for locals to get together for good times, the site of The Tav has been continually licenced as a pub for more than 125 years, first christened as the St Leonards Hotel in 1899. It continues to operate today, with a refreshed look, a delicious menu of pub classics, and all your favourite beers.

  • The kitchen is open Monday to Sunday, 12pm-3pm and 5:30pm-9pm.

  • Yes we show a range of live sports on our big screens.

  • Children are most welcome in the company of a parent or responsible adult at all times. A children's menu is available.

  • Street parking is available nearby on Christie Street, Atchison Street and Chandos Street.

  • St Leonards train station is a two-minute walk, and Crows Nest Metro Station is just a few minutes walk, just one stop away from North Sydney. There are also bus stops going in both directions located on Pacific Highway.
